Because I am interested in improving my blog, I'm about to inundate you with questions galore in the hopes of getting some feedback. Bear with me and let's hear from ya!
What do you like about this blog? What don't you like? What do you look for in a blog.. what can I do better? Do you like a lot of pics? Do you like a lot of personal information, or do you like it when people stick to the knitting and creativity stuff? Do you like giveaways?
Anything else you would like to comment on?
Thanks in advance for your feedback, and have a wonderful day!! If Blogger won't let you comment, for some reason, email me at mzel@bellsouth.net or Twitter me: @merfz
I would like to see bigger pictures without having to click them. And I like "a lot of pics" :P
ReplyDeleteI would also prefer a larger font. I don't know how your blog looks in other browsers, but in my browser I have to get closer to the screen so I could read more comfortably.
I like knitting/crafty stuff, but I don't mind personal ramblings either. Everything is good.
It would be also great if your blog could have a more personal layout. It should be pretty easy now with Blogger's new wysiwyg-template tool since you don't even have to touch html code anymore :)
You have to click on my pics? Hhhmm....I see them just fine. I have no idea how to fix that.. anyone else with this problem? Thanks so much for the feedback!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with the pictures. Some of them are just more like thumbnails than actual pictures. I prefer larger pictures, meaning picture width somewhere between 400-500px. I like to see as much details as possible without having to click the picture :P I'm LAZY :D
ReplyDeleteOk.. thanks! They look big here.. not sure why you're seeing them small, but I'll look into it. The font here is pretty big too.. I'm wondering if your browser just isn't presenting the blog in the way it should or something. I'm not very techno-savvy, so I really don't know how these things work :)
ReplyDeleteThe size of that you are seeing the blog might depend on the size of your resolution sizes that would vary between the creator and reader of the blog. My husband said that it can depend on the dpi setting under the advanced settings but I doubt that would the issue. The blog does look a bit small on my end and my resolution is set to 1366 x 768 which is a wide screen (16:9) setting. That might give you some idea what one of your readers is using for comparison. :) The pictures show up in a nice size on my screen.
ReplyDeleteThat being said I love pictures and stories about crafting. My favorite blogs are always a mix between personal, craft, and shared finds of any kind.
I am not very good at coming up with ideas myself so I completely understand. I haven't updated my blog in over a month. lol
Thanks for your help!
